Katar 2011: Stoner premočen za konkurenco

Novopečeni voznik Honde Casey Stoner je bil na prvi dirki sezone v Katarju prehiter za konkurenco.

Avstralec ni bil v vodstvu le nekaj prvih krogov, nato pa je uspel prehiteti moštvenega kolega Danija Pedroso. Lorenzo je bil drugi, Pedrosa pa tretji. Dominacijo Honde sta dopolnila še Andrea Dovizioso ter Marco Simoncelli z četrtim in petim mestom. Rossi je na prvi dirki z Ducatijem osvojil skromno sedmo mesto. Voznik moštva Suzuki Alvaro Bautista zaradi poškodbe ni nastopil.
